So as a bunch of you have probably already heard I'm out of the clan. So heres the story.
We are playing a scrim against some clan that wasnt really good but we were struggling anyways. Ohno was as usual not really giving us strats but yelling at us for not following what he didnt tell us to do. His strategy, as always, was to get 3 hunters and 1 smoker and only attack twice per map. Ok, whatever. He yells at raven for getting mollied as tank. Ok, whatever. On BH2 we manage to let them get to the saferoom with 4 medpacks. He tries to convince us to rush the event even though theres a tank and we are already struggling. Once we wait out the event and go trigger the tank he wants to abandon our original plan of running back to the rafters room and he tries to convince us to "rush past the tank".
This whole time ohno is barely saying anything just expecting us to know what he wants us to do (well his strat is extremely predictable so I guess its not askign that much).
Now comes BH3, the bridge. We get an early tank and they are still in the tunnels. There are no molotovs or gas cans in the tunnels so they are ****ed. All ohno has to do is wait for the special infected to go in with him and we will own them.
"Wait ohno, wait for me to go and see if they have gas cans or propane tanks set up." I asked him to wait several times as i ran ahead of him to check. But he didnt wait. He goes around the corner and they shoot the propane tank they had waiting for him and he takes a bunch of bullets. I die trying to support him going in, then raven and artic die shortly after trying to cover his escape. At this point we are telling him he should wait for us to respawn. Instead he trys to juke they around the corners and he dies to tier 1s in the tunnels without a molly.
Needless to say we have all had failtanks like this, I know i have, and thats what it is. It was a failtank.
At this point im pretty pissed off that ohno invites me into a scrim and he is just ****ing around so i say "failtank".
To this ohno says "more like fail special infected"
I snapped and got really pissed off. I was already tired as **** from staying up all night writing a paper and ohno drags me into this scrim, plays and leads half-assed and then blames it on the rest of the team when we are sucking.
I couldnt even voice my displeasure because ohno was too busy spamming voicechat with **** like "no no no you guys ****ed it up". I wanted to just leave i was so fed up but instead I started typing something out in teamchat. While I was typing the AI smoker, which I didnt know was still alive, went in and ohno raven and artic managed to go in too. I dont know who ****ed it up, it was probably the AI, but I couldnt get into position in time.
Afterwards ohno says "where was the fourth hunter?" to which i reply "im up here i was-" and he cuts me off with "good game tet" and runs to safe room to afk with boomer.
I'm suprised with how immature our supposed "leader" was being so I say in chat "this team is a joke and the punchline is ohno" to which ohno instructs me to leave the game, leave the clan and remove my tag.
Ohno promptly removes me from his friendslist and refuses to talk to me, making me talk to him through raven as if we are 13 year old girls. He tells me i'm out permanantly and that I should remove all people who are tagged as RIP from my friends list.
Laff. Aparrently you guys arent supposed to play with me anymore
Ever since CAL went down this clan has not been about serious competetive play its been about popularity. Ohno even told me in a conversation once that the reason he invites alot of people into RIP is because he wants us to have "fans" for when we get good. So we are popular because we have lots of people in our clan but now most other clans we have played think we are a ****ing joke.
I know i've been mean to alot of people. I can be a real asshole sometimes but I never really meant to attack anyone personally. Most of the time when I yelled at people for being noobs i was really yelling at ohno. He would convince me to stop what i was doing and play left4dead with him by saying we were going to practice or scrim or have a serious game. I would join only to find out that I was playing with people who were still learning. This wasnt their fault and I'm sorry for taking it out of them instead of taking it out on ohno.
Then again if I had taken it out on ohno, as i did just now, I guess I would have been out of the clan, huh?
It is a fact that this is the first and only time that I openly criticized ohno's leadership. I've never even talked **** to ohno seriously before.
One time of serious criticism, which was warranted in my opinion, and ohno cant take it.
He turns into a little ***** like I hit a nerve or something.
So thats my side of the story. Whatever. I'm not really upset about not being in the clan anymore to be honest because lately i've been feeling really negative about the direction it was heading as you guys could probably tell (i'm a real asshole when im feeling negative). The most dissapointing part of this whole episode is the loss of friendship with ohno. We were getting to be pretty good buds as far as clanmates go.
Considering just a few days before ohno was saying how our team was going to be me and him and two others then suddenly I'm judas and he is jesus.
Only you dont make a very good jesus, ohno.
Well I figured id write this up here because people have been asking me what happened and I dont feel like telling the story each time to each person.
I kinda have the feeling that ohno will just delete this post or whatever anyways, if his *****y behavior recently is any indicator.
